Welcome to the Worcester State Foundation Scholarship Application Site!

Last year we made a number of improvements to the system which make it easier than ever for you to be considered for all of the scholarships for which you may be eligible.

To make the process more streamlined we have refined the application to include three short essay questions that will provide the information needed to evaluate your application. These three short essay questions fulfill the “essay” requirement that is mentioned in almost all of the scholarship descriptions. Except in some very specific situations (where you will receive special prompting) you need not write a separate essay for each scholarship.

Now, most of our scholarships are “automatch”. This means the system will match you to all the scholarships you are eligible for – you do not need to individually choose scholarships to apply for.

This means that if you meet the criteria of the scholarship, after you have completed your general application, you will be automatically matched to ALL scholarships for which you are eligible based on the criteria of the scholarship. No further action will be required by you.

There may be additional scholarships that you are eligible for that may require you to answer a few more questions – to get to those scholarships you must complete your general application and THEN click on the “recommended” button – that will take you to an additional list of scholarships for which you may apply by answering a few more short questions.
