The beloved mother of Nancy M. Lapriore and her husband, Frank, Debra Martin and Alishan Martin, Jr. and adoring grandmother of Alicia Lapriore, Mrs. Ann Martin lived her life with extraordinary kindness, grace, compassion and care for others. Mrs. Martin exuded love and extended a helping hand to anyone who was in need, regardless of their socio-economic status. A woman of strong faith, Mrs. Martin quietly touched the lives of countless of people – the young, the old, the homeless, the rich and the poor. Not only did she serve her Lord but she devoted herself to her husband, three children and her endearing granddaughter. The most cherished times Mrs. Martin enjoyed were those with her family.
Mrs. Martin was a self-educated lady who loved to read and to listen to others’ stories. Her patience and genuine interest in people were remarkable. Because of these qualities, Mrs. Martin became a mentor, advisor, counselor, teacher and friend to all with whom she interacted. Mrs. Martin personified a gentle woman, a quiet light, a morning star – strong and bright, who taught us all wisdom and love through her actions and her words.
