Millbury Federal Credit Union is a full-service financial institution chartered by the National Credit Union Administration with deposits federally insured by the National Credit Union Insurance Fund. Established in Millbury, Massachusetts, in 1934, MCU serves more than 42,000 members and has five locations with branches in Auburn, South Grafton, and Worcester.

Millbury Federal Credit Union has a history founded on education, with several of the early directors having backgrounds as teachers and educators. Today MCU continues to support education having created a school banking program that begins at the elementary school level and follows students all the way to college. MCU has partnered with several elementary schools, teaching children early saving strategies. For high school students, a Financial Literacy Program was developed to give students real life skills to manage their personal finances. As these high school students prepare for higher education, MCU’s Student Choice lending program provides educational tools to assist with the process, including free seminars throughout the year on the college loan application process as well as obtaining financial aid.

MCU is firmly committed to supporting higher education and has several employees sitting on the boards of local colleges and universities. MCU began supporting student scholarships at Worcester State University in 2010. Its generous contributions help students complete their education, enhance job readiness, and strengthen our local and broader communities, both today and tomorrow.
