The Olivia Rochelle Spencer Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to any students enrolled in a degree program (including incoming freshman) who have a commitment to community involvement and who have a GPA of 2.7 or higher. Information about the student’s community involvement must be referenced in their essay. The student must be able to provide evidence of financial need either through the financial aid process or evidenced in their essay. First preference will be given to citizens of the United States who are of African descent.

Second preference will be given to students who are majoring in Education or minoring in Art. The award is not

automatically renewable but can be awarded more than once to the same student. Students must reapply each year.
