The CLASS OF 1970 SCHOLARSHIP

The Class of 1970 Scholarship shall be awarded to a junior or senior enrolled at Worcester State University who is a resident of Worcester County. The recipient must be working part-time, demonstrate a history of volunteerism or community service, and be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

In celebrating the 50th anniversary of their graduation from Worcester State University, the Class of 1970 recognizes the challenges achieving a college degree can bring. It is their goal to establish a scholarship that assists a matriculating student in bringing the dream of a college education within their reach. The scholarship is designed to recognize academic excellence, community involvement and a committed work ethic as they prepare for their future.
